These books of negatives were found under a false bottom in a trunk of photographic equipment I won at auction in Paterson, New Jersey in 2006. There are approximately 1, 900 images. There are no identifying marks, dates or notes. By looking carefully through the film, I've been able to infer some information about location and date (for example, the approximate age of cars. license plates, and road signs.)

In addition to the negatives, there was a camera, several lenses, a tripod and a few dusty pieces of darkroom equipment.
